Heather Abbey

Heather is a policy expert with experience spanning government, the third sector, and academia. Her work in the youth space includes addressing adverse childhood experiences, transitions, early years education, and aspiration-raising programs. Additionally, she has contributed to the field of criminal justice, focusing on exploitation, young adults, racial injustice, and workforce planning.

Beatriz Pilar Cordova Aquino

Beatriz is a political scientist specializing in gender, elections, and public policy. She is the co-founder of Quinta Ola, a feminist NGO based in Peru that was awarded the UNHCR Innovation Award in 2022 and the Ibero-American Award for Education in Human Rights in 2024 for its work focused on the political empowerment and public engagement of refugee, migrant, and Peruvian host community girls.

Fran Stuardo

Francisca Stuardo Vidal is a specialist in communications, campaigning, policy research and international advocacy. Her work has covered the intersection between climate change, human rights and gender both as part of international civil society organisations and as an independent consultant in Latin America, Asia and Africa.

Aysha Shugat

Aysha is a development practitioner focusing on democracy, elections, gender, and inclusion. She has worked on some of the most historic post-conflict elections including Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. Currently she is consulting with International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) to enhance electoral participation of women and marginalized groups.

Rudrashish Sinha

Rudrashish is a policy professional currently working with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero as a Senior Policy Advisor. He has recently graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) with a Master of Public Policy degree. Previously, he worked with several governments in India as a strategy consultant across multiple policy domains including Public Finance and Economics, Inclusive Policy-making, Health, Education and Urban Development. He has honed specialised skills in workforce management and redeployment, outcome based budgeting and fiscal analysis. With an intrinsic passion for driving tangible public impact and improving quality of life for all, he is now working with Ase to develop creative solutions for promoting wellbeing management and inclusion in the public and social sectors.

Genevieve Quartey-Davidson

Genevieve is a British born Ghanaian, with an intrinsic passion for youth development and fostering stronger ties within the African diaspora. She holds a master’s in international development from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Policy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Birmingham, she combines a strong academic foundation with practical experience. Genevieve has developed a strong policy career in the UK civil service, with roles at the Department for Culture, Media, and Sport, and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, focusing on initiatives that address government priorities such as youth unemployment and mental health. Her commitment to youth empowerment is evident through her involvement with organisations that promote political education among Ghanaian youth. With a strong interest in African development, Genevieve is also passionate about harnessing the potential of the diaspora to contribute positively to the continent's progress.

Saumya Shukla is a lawyer by profession and a policymaker by aspiration, dedicated to driving meaningful change through purpose-led solutions. With a master’s degree in Social and Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, she bridges legal expertise with visionary policymaking to tackle today’s most pressing challenges.Guided by the belief that “policy is the art of turning ideas into impact,” Saumya is passionate about creating transformative policies that inspire action and improve overall wellbeing. Her journey reflects a commitment to impact, innovation, and progress.
